Quay with Sphinx
One of the two ancient sphinxes of Amenhotep III at the Universitetskaya Embankment in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in front of the Imperial Academy of Arts. The sphinx weighs about 23 tons. It is made from syenite and initially was in front of the Temple of Amenhotep III near Thebes.
